The Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions is federal government agency that ensures that Canadian financial institutions are in sound financial condition and are compliant with all regulatory bodies. There are a number of highly specialized complex credit risk analyses that need to be conducted on all institutions on a regular yearly and quarterly basis. Much of the analysts’ time was spent on routine tasks, such as updating documents, and forwarding them on for review. The project goal was to reduce the effort required and time expended on performing these more mundane tasks; and let the analysts focus on their credit risk skill-set.
